The past couple of weeks have been ok around here. Just ok, that's it. There have been a couple totally uncalled for episodes go on around our house for some reason. I still can't figure out what the problem has been for my loving dear husband to start throwing tantrums like a two year old. I take that back, they have been worse than a two year old. He has managed to hurt or upset every single person that matters in his life while he walks around thinking it is everyones fault but his. I seriously think he is going through some deep depression over losing his grandfather and dealing with fathers day. I have been trying to be understanding and work with him on things but he is just so irrational. I don't know what else to do but wait for this storm to blow over.
For Fathers Day to kids and I made Cam a board to go on top of his tool box. We had pictures made of the kids holding letters to spell DAD and put them on the board. Cam said it was to nice to bring to work so now it is sitting in a corner somewhere. Nice huh. The good part is that the kids had a good time painting the letters, making the board and taking their pictures. Mike got to practice photographing people to prepare himself for Josh's wedding, and I got some awesome pics of the kids that I just love! Here is how his gift turned out and a few of the pictures:

The only other thing exciting that has happened was our mailbox destruction. We had some neighborhood vandalism and our mailbox got taken out. Cam got mad because he just gave it a fresh coat of paint this week and now he has to replace the whole thing. They kicked our 4x4 post in half. The evidence is the foot print left in the side of the metal mailbox. Just one more thing to repair around the house I guess.

Just keeping up

We haven't been doing to much around here lately. Just keeping up with every ones going ons and staying out of the heat. It has been so hot here this past week. We have been swimming almost everyday so that helps beat the heat and pass some time. The kids really enjoy the pool this year which is great because it is way to hot to just stand around and play out in the yard and I definitely cannot sit in the house all day everyday.

Last Thursday we stopped at Chuck E Cheese on the way home from Atlanta. We thought we would see how Liv liked it now since she has been saying for the past 6 months that she wanted her birthday party there. Our local CC is not that great and only has like 4-5 things kids Liv and Dig's age would enjoy. Despite limited activities the kids did enjoy themselves and we all ate our cardboard pizza.

They spent most of their time singing and dancing on "the green screen" with four other kids their age. It was quite comical to watch and I must say that my dancing Livi had the best moves! Next to the green screen is Chuck E.'s stage. (where the kids are in that cheesy picture) All Chuck E really does is talk and start the next song. Not that exciting. During trying to get that picture ChuckE brushed his hand across Livi's shoulder and scared her pretty good. It's a good thing I was standing close because she jumped off that stage without ever looking to where she was jumping. I caught her but she didn't get within ten feet of him after that.

We also managed to get this lovely picture. Good thing they only cost 25 cent because this was "the good one". I thought it was pretty funny and they both liked it so it was a keeper!

Monday is Liv's next doctor appointment for the bumps on her back. We will see what they have to say about them. I think they were expecting most of them to go away with the cream we have been putting on but they haven't. There are more now and the ones that were there the last time we went are unchanged. I have no idea what to expect them to do since our next step was to have the remaining bumps removed by laser. I seriously doubt they are going to want to laser 60 bumps off a three year old. I just want her to get over this and not have any scaring or discoloration. I guess we have to just wait and see.
